This Privacy Policy applies to the Antibot website, the Antibot Discord application, its administrative dashboard, AI chat and agent features, proactive chat, member memory and personalization, member lookup and AI Smart Overview, community history and moderation features, and customer support. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use Antibot or install it in a Discord server.

Privacy Summary

Antibot processes information required to provide features enabled by users and Discord server administrators. In short, Antibot:

  • Uses Discord data only to provide and improve its stated features;
  • Does not sell Discord API data, or share it with advertising networks or data brokers;
  • Does not request or collect Discord passwords;
  • Processes message content only when an enabled feature requires conversation context;
  • Lets server administrators control Antibot through Discord permissions and configuration;
  • Provides a contact channel for data access and deletion requests;
  • Follows Discord's Developer Terms and Developer Policy when handling Discord API data.

1. About Antibot

Antibot is a customizable AI community bot for Discord, published by Techies Lab. It acts as an AI community manager that helps servers feel more alive - starting natural conversations, welcoming and onboarding new members, remembering relevant context about members, personalizing its own behavior through custom personalities, summarizing community activity, and supporting day-to-day community management and moderation.

Antibot operates both as a Discord application, where it lives inside your server, and through a web dashboard used to configure and manage it. Its features - including proactive chat, member memory, AI Smart Overview, member lookup, and auto-flag and auto-ban moderation - are enabled and controlled by server administrators, and the information Antibot processes depends on the features they turn on and the Discord permissions they grant. This Privacy Policy explains how that information is handled.

2. Information Antibot May Process

The information processed by Antibot depends on the Discord permissions granted, the features enabled by a server administrator, the Antibot plan used, how a member interacts with Antibot, and the information made available through Discord. Antibot does not necessarily process every category below for every user or server.

2.1 Discord Account Information

When a user interacts with Antibot or authorizes a feature through Discord, Antibot may process information made available by Discord, such as Discord user ID, username, display name or server nickname, avatar, server roles, relevant permissions, and commands or interactions sent to Antibot. When a user signs in to the Antibot dashboard or adds Antibot to a server, Discord also provides the email address on that Discord account, together with whether Discord has verified it. Antibot does not request a user's Discord password.

2.2 Discord Server Information

When Antibot is installed in a server, it may process server information required to operate enabled features, including server/guild ID, server name and icon, channel and role IDs and names, server configuration, feature settings, selected personality, configured channels, installation status, and community language and preferences provided by administrators.

2.3 Discord Member Information

Features such as member memory, member lookup, onboarding, personalization, and community management may require limited information about server members - user ID, username and nickname, avatar, roles, join/leave activity, interactions with Antibot, community participation, and information voluntarily shared in conversations where Antibot is permitted to operate. This information is processed to provide community features, not to create advertising profiles.

2.4 Messages And Conversation Context

When AI chat, proactive starters, summaries, member memory, AI Smart Overview, or context-aware interactions are enabled, Antibot may process message content, message ID, author ID, channel ID, timestamps, relevant conversation context, commands and prompts, and the responses it generates. Antibot processes message content only where it is available through Discord and reasonably necessary for an enabled feature. Discord may treat message content as privileged data.

2.5 Member Memory

Member memory helps Antibot remember relevant context for more natural interactions - member interests, games or projects mentioned, community milestones, previous interactions, frequent topics, and context to continue a relevant conversation. Members should not provide passwords, access tokens, payment information, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive personal information to Antibot.

2.6 Community History And Insights

The Antibot Pro Plan includes up to 90 days of history and features such as member lookup and AI Smart Overview. Information used may include recent server activity, relevant member interactions, conversation summaries, community topics, feature activity, and aggregated community patterns. Availability and scope may depend on the selected plan and enabled features.

2.7 Moderation Information

When auto-flag, auto-ban, or other moderation functionality is enabled, Antibot may process user and server identifiers, relevant message or interaction content, channel and role information, flagged activity, moderation actions, associated reasons or signals, and timestamps. Server administrators remain responsible for configuring moderation features and reviewing their suitability.

2.8 Dashboard And Product Usage

Antibot may process information needed to operate its dashboard and features, including enabled features, selected plan, configuration, commands used, feature interactions, operational events, technical errors, performance information, and support requests and feedback - used to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Antibot.

2.9 Subscription Information

Antibot offers Free, Pro, and Max plans, and may process the selected plan, subscription status, billing period, features available, and transaction or subscription references made available through the payment process. Antibot sends invoices, payment confirmations, and renewal or non-payment notices to the email address on the Discord account used to sign in. This policy does not claim that Antibot directly stores complete payment card details.

2.10 Information You Provide To Support

If you contact Antibot through email, Discord, social media, or another channel, we may process your name or username, email address, Discord user or server ID, a description of the issue, messages and attachments you provide, and information required to investigate and respond.

3. How Antibot Uses Information

3.1 Providing AI Community Features

To respond to commands, generate AI chat responses, start relevant conversations, welcome and onboard members, personalize behavior, remember relevant context, generate summaries, provide member lookup and AI Smart Overview, support custom personalities, and provide moderation features.

3.2 Configuring Antibot

Server and administrator information may be used to install Antibot, connect it to the correct server, apply preferences, select channels and roles, configure personalities, enable or disable features, apply plan limits, and operate multiple bots where supported.

3.3 Maintaining And Improving Antibot

Operational and usage information may be used to maintain functionality, diagnose problems, investigate errors, improve reliability, evaluate performance, prevent misuse, and develop improvements. Discord API data may only be used for improvement where permitted by Discord, and where required must be aggregated or de-identified so it cannot reasonably identify an individual.

3.4 Protecting Antibot And Its Users

To detect abuse or suspicious activity, enforce service limits, protect Antibot's systems, investigate reported issues, support enabled moderation features, comply with Discord's platform rules, and respond to security concerns.

3.5 Providing Customer Support

Contact and support information may be used to respond to questions, troubleshoot, investigate account or server issues, provide onboarding assistance, receive feedback, and communicate important service information.

3.6 Complying With Applicable Requirements

Information may be processed to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal requests, protect users and the Service, enforce Antibot's policies, and comply with Discord's Developer Terms and Developer Policy.

3.7 Managing Subscriptions And Billing

Antibot uses the email address associated with a signed-in Discord account to send billing communications, including invoices, payment confirmations, upcoming renewal reminders, and notices about unpaid or overdue subscriptions. These are service messages about an active subscription rather than marketing, and Antibot does not require a separate email address to be provided.

4. Artificial Intelligence And Message Content

Antibot uses artificial intelligence to provide AI chat, AI agent functionality, proactive conversations, member memory, custom personalities, community summaries, AI Smart Overview, and context-aware community management. Antibot limits the context used by an AI feature to what is reasonably necessary to provide that feature.

Discord's Developer Policy restricts using message content obtained through Discord APIs to train machine-learning or AI models. Antibot does not use Discord message content to train generalized AI or machine-learning models unless Discord has expressly permitted that use. This does not prevent Antibot from processing relevant conversation context to generate a response, summary, memory, or overview requested or enabled through the Service.

5. Discord Permissions And Administrator Control

Antibot receives access to Discord information through permissions and API access controlled by Discord. A server administrator can review Antibot's requested permissions, limit its access to selected channels, change role and channel permissions, enable or disable features, and remove Antibot from the server. Administrators should grant only the permissions required for the features they intend to use. Removing Antibot stops the bot from receiving new server events through that installation.

6. Responsibilities Of Server Administrators

Server owners and administrators who install Antibot should review this policy and Antibot's permissions, enable only appropriate features, inform members that Antibot is installed, explain which AI/memory/history/moderation features are enabled, avoid collecting sensitive information, respond to privacy concerns, and use Antibot in accordance with Discord's policies and applicable law.

Administrators should not use Antibot to secretly monitor members, unlawfully discriminate, harass users, or make decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, or other protected legal interests.

7. How Information May Be Shared

7.1 Discord

Antibot exchanges information with Discord to receive events, respond to interactions, operate authorized features, and perform actions permitted by administrators. Discord processes information according to the Discord Privacy Policy.

7.2 Service Providers

Information may be processed by service providers that support Antibot's operation, such as infrastructure, AI, technical support, monitoring, or payment services, only where required to perform a service for Antibot.

7.3 Legal And Safety Requirements

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal processes, investigate fraud/abuse/security incidents, protect Antibot, Techies Lab, users or the public, and enforce applicable agreements and policies.

7.4 Prohibited Sharing

Antibot does not sell Discord API data, share it with data brokers or advertising networks, use it for advertising profiles, or commercialize Discord user data independently from Antibot's stated functionality.

8. Data Retention

Antibot retains information only while it is required to provide an enabled feature, operate the Service, protect users, resolve support requests, or comply with applicable requirements. The Pro Plan includes up to 90 days of history. Information that is no longer required should be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated, unless continued retention is required by law or needed to protect the Service.

9. Data Deletion Requests

Users and authorized server administrators may request deletion of eligible information associated with Antibot via email at [email protected] or through Discord support. A request should include enough information to identify the relevant data - such as Discord user ID, server ID, the feature involved, and a description. Antibot may request reasonable verification before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required by law, necessary to investigate abuse or security issues, or already irreversibly aggregated or anonymized.

10. Access And Correction Requests

Users may contact Antibot to request information about eligible personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of eligible information, or restriction/objection where provided by applicable law. Requests can be submitted to [email protected]. Antibot may need to verify the requester's identity or authority over a server before fulfilling a request.

11. Data Security

Antibot takes reasonable steps to protect information used to provide its features. This policy does not claim specific encryption standards, certifications, hosting locations, or testing schedules. Users and administrators can help by enabling multi-factor authentication on Discord, reviewing Antibot's permissions, restricting the bot to necessary channels, avoiding submission of sensitive information, protecting administrator accounts, and reporting suspicious behavior. Security concerns may be submitted to [email protected].

12. Children's Privacy

Discord generally requires users to be at least 13 years old and may apply a higher minimum age in certain jurisdictions. Antibot is not intended to be used in violation of Discord's age requirements. If you believe information relating to a person below the applicable minimum age has been processed through Antibot, contact [email protected].

13. Third-Party Services

Antibot operates on Discord and may link to other websites or services. This policy applies to Antibot and does not govern the independent privacy practices of Discord, social networks, payment services, or other third-party websites. Users should review the policies of the services they choose to use.

14. Changes To This Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when Antibot adds or changes features, its data practices change, Discord changes its requirements, legal requirements change, or new plans or integrations are introduced. The "Last Updated" date at the top will indicate the latest revision. Where appropriate, material changes may also be communicated through the website, Discord, or available contact channels.
