Getting to know Antibot

What is Antibot?
Antibot, also called Antibot AI, is an AI-powered community manager for Discord, built by Techies Lab. It helps community owners keep servers active - starting conversations when things go quiet, remembering what members are into, summarizing discussions people missed, researching questions with sources, and assisting with moderation. You manage everything from a web dashboard, and members simply talk to Antibot in plain language.
How is Antibot different from a traditional Discord bot?
Most Discord bots only react to specific slash commands. Antibot understands natural language, so members can just talk to it. It also remembers context, learns what your community cares about, and acts proactively - for example, starting a relevant conversation when a channel has gone quiet - instead of waiting for someone to type a command.
What kinds of communities is Antibot built for?
Antibot works for almost any Discord community - technology, gaming, education, content-creator, Web3, and brand or product communities. Its personality, tone, and level of moderation can be tailored to each server, so it fits a small friend group and a large public community equally well.
Does Antibot replace community managers or moderators?
No. Antibot is built to support your team, not replace it. It handles repetitive work - welcoming newcomers, answering common questions, keeping conversations alive - while the important decisions and the human relationships in your community stay with your moderators and admins.
Who builds Antibot?
Antibot is built by Techies Lab, a software team focused on AI tools for online communities. You can reach the team through the official support Discord or by email at [email protected].

How Antibot works

How does Antibot understand messages without commands?
Antibot uses AI language models to read messages the way a person would, so members can ask questions or make requests in plain language instead of memorizing commands. Quick commands are still available for admins who want to trigger certain actions faster.
Can Antibot start conversations on its own?
Yes. When a server has been quiet for a while, Antibot can proactively open a conversation based on topics its members are interested in - a light prompt, a question, or a follow-up - to help bring the community back to life. You control how active it is.
How does Antibot remember members?
Antibot can remember members' interests, topics they've discussed, and relevant details from past conversations, then bring them up naturally later. This makes interactions feel personal rather than generic. What is remembered, and for how long, depends on your plan and Antibot's Privacy Policy.
Is AI-generated content always accurate?
No - like any AI, Antibot can occasionally be wrong or incomplete. When it researches information, it provides sources you can check, and important decisions should always be verified by a human. How Antibot manages content quality is described in its Content Quality Management policy.

Features & capabilities

Can Antibot summarize conversations I missed?
Yes. Members can ask Antibot to summarize what happened in a channel while they were away. Where supported, the summary includes links back to the original messages so you can jump straight to the full context.
Can Antibot research information from the internet?
Yes. Antibot can look up and summarize information from the internet and share references so members can verify it themselves. Because AI answers can sometimes be inaccurate, always double-check anything important before relying on it.
Does Antibot help with moderation?
Yes. Depending on your plan and the permissions you grant, Antibot can help detect rule violations, warn members, apply timeouts, and support other moderation tasks. Admins configure which actions are allowed, so automated moderation always stays under your control.
Can Antibot run polls and activities?
Yes. Antibot can create polls and support lightweight activities that pull members back into the conversation - a quick vote, a prompt, or a fun interaction - all through natural language, with no setup required.
Can Antibot keep channels organized with threads?
Yes. Antibot can automatically create threads to keep longer discussions contained, so your main channels stay readable and organized instead of turning into a wall of overlapping conversations.
Can I customize Antibot's name, avatar, and personality?
Yes. On the Free plan you can choose from preset personalities; on paid plans you can create a fully custom personality, and higher tiers let you change the name and avatar (white-label) so Antibot feels like a native part of your community.
Does Antibot give community insights or analytics?
Yes. Antibot tracks trends, interests, and engagement over time and surfaces them in your dashboard - including an AI Smart Overview on paid plans - so you can see how your community is doing instead of guessing.
Can Antibot manage multiple servers?
It depends on your plan. The Free and Pro plans focus on a single server (Pro allows up to three bots per server), while the Max plan supports unlimited bots and servers - suited to organizations managing several communities at once.

Getting started

How do I add Antibot to my Discord server?
Click "Add Antibot to Your Server," choose your server, and grant the requested permissions. You'll need server-management permissions or the owner's approval to install it. Once added, Antibot walks you through a short setup so it's ready to use.
What permissions does Antibot need, and why?
Antibot asks for permissions such as reading and sending messages, managing threads, and - if you enable moderation - timing out or removing rule-breakers. It only uses them to provide the features you turn on, so you can grant the minimum you need and expand later.
Do I need any coding or technical skills to use Antibot?
No. Antibot is designed to be used with no code. You install it from your dashboard, adjust settings visually, and members interact with it through normal conversation. There's nothing to program or host yourself.

Plans & pricing

Is Antibot free to use?
Yes. Antibot has a Free plan ($0, one-time trial) that includes one Discord server, one active bot, and a one-time allowance of AI usage so you can try the full experience before deciding. Paid plans add more servers and bots, more AI usage, custom personalities, deeper analytics, and moderation automation.
What's the difference between the Free, Plus, Pro, and Custom plans?
Free ($0) is a one-time trial covering a single server and one bot. Plus ($4.99/month or $49.99/year) adds a second server, up to three bots per server, 5x monthly AI usage, per-channel controls, grounded summaries, scheduled proactive engagement and a 7-day bot history. Pro ($14.99/month or $149.99/year) takes it to five servers, five bots per server, 15x monthly AI usage, per-bot channel controls, the AI-powered dashboard, full proactive controls, advanced auto-flagging and a 30-day history. Custom (contact us) is for tailored limits, custom tools and personas, MCP integrations and dedicated support.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan from your dashboard at any time, and your community keeps running on the Free plan if you cancel a paid subscription. For exact billing terms, check your account settings or contact the Antibot team.

Data & safety

What data does Antibot collect?
To provide conversation, memory, and analytics features, Antibot processes data such as message content, member information, and activity in the channels where it has access. What is collected, why, and how long it's kept is described in full in Antibot's Privacy Policy.
How long is my data kept, and can I delete it?
Retention depends on your plan - for example, the Pro plan keeps up to 90 days of history. You can request deletion of your community's data, and removing Antibot from your server stops further collection. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Is my community's data used to train AI models?
Antibot uses your community's data to provide its features - such as memory, summaries, and analytics - within your own server. How your data relates to AI model training is governed by Antibot's Privacy Policy; review it to understand exactly how your community's information is and isn't used.

Support

How do I get help or contact the team?
You can get help in the official Antibot support Discord (discord.com/invite/qSKk6MsJDR) or by emailing [email protected]. That's also the best place to report a bug, ask a question, or request a new feature.

Your server already has bots.
What it doesn't have is a community manager.
